Sivan, the 3rd month on the Hebrew (God's) calendar
This month falls in May or June
In this month we have the season of Pentecost (Shavuot), feast of weeks (on the 6th of Sivan) also being the season of wheat harvest, Exodus 34:22,
when an offering of the first fruits from their harvest was given, Exodus 23:16, Lev 23:15-22, Numb.28:26-31, Deut. 9-12, Prov.3:9-10.
The word Pentecost meaning counting to 50, because it's 50 days from Passover (barley harvest ) to Pentecost (wheat harvest).
Also this season in Hebrew is called Shavuot; meaning the feast of weeks (the counting of 7 weeks from Passover to Pentecost as in Leviticus 23:15-17).
2 Chronicles 15: 8-15 says that in the 3rd month of Sivan (Pentecost season) after they had entered in a marriage oath with God, given their 1st fruits, blown the shofar (Hebrew trumpet, ram's horn) and sought God with all their hearts, God was found by them, and the Lord gave them rest all around.
On the mount Sinai on the day of Pentecost, fire descended upon the mountain, the sound of the shofar was heard,
which was blown by God and there was earthquake and lightening as in Exodus 19:16-20.
In this same season of wheat harvest (Pentecost), Ruth 2:23, Ruth met Boaz,
and it was also the time when Ruth crossed over from being a gentile woman,
into a wife married to Boaz (a man that knew the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, a Jew),
and she became the grandmother of David, who is in the lineage of Jesus, Yeshua, our Lord (Matthew 1:5-16, Ruth 4:13-22).
Also in this season of Pentecost, which is in the 3rd month of God's calendar, the body of Christ became a church, and we were also given the Holy Spirit as our helper, comforter and teacher (Acts 2:1-4, John 14:15-17, John 16:8-11).
In this same season God married (covenanted Himself with) the Nation of Israel, and He gave them His commandments on mount Sinai, as guideline of instructions that became their helper through life, Ex 19:1-25 and Ex20:1-21, 31:18.
In this season Adam offered his first fruits (His own rib) to God, and in return God gave him a wife in marriage as an helper (Gen 2:18-24).
This is also the month when Jesus was born, being conceived in Mary's womb, in the 6th month of Elul according to the Hebrew calendar (Luke 1:26-38), so from that time you count 9 months,
which is the time of a woman's pregnancy before giving birth, then you will come to the 3rd month, which is the month of Sivan, also being the season of offering the first fruits,
1 Corinthians 15:23; Jesus (Yeshua), our Lord, is declared to be the first fruits, meaning that His birth was preordained to bring humanity into a marriage covenant with God.,
guess who else was born in this season of Pentecost? Yes. that's right, King David was also born in this same season.
In this season we read the whole book of Ruth, and Exodus 19:1-25 and Exodus 20:1-17.
According to the rabbinic teachings the Hebrew interpretation of the word Sivan means the month of vision, and the power to walk, meaning to move and accelerate in our service of God.
In Sivan everybody saw the revelation on Mount Sinai, the giving of the Torah (the old testament). The blowing of the shofar and fire, witnessed God's covenant agreement that He made with the children of Israel on mount Sinai.
