The months
Tishrei, the 7th month on the Hebrew (God's) calendar

This month falls in September or October

This is the 7th month, in the Hebrew (Jewish) calendar, God's calendar.

In this month there are many powerful feasts of God.

The first one is Rosh Hashanah called the feast of trumpets (that falls on the 1st of Tishrei), Yom Kippur , or Day of Atonement is the second one (that falls on the 10th of Tishrei), Feast of Tabernacles or booths also called Sukkot in Hebrew begins  on the 15th of Tishrei and finishes on the 22nd of Tishrei.

Rosh Hashanah or feast of trumpets falls on Friday evening when the sun goes down on the 18th of September- the 20th of September 2009

The first day of Tishrei is when the New Hebrew Year begins. It is also called the Day of Judgement or the Head of the year, The day when God is crowned as King in the lives of those that appreciate His Kingship.

Crowning God King also means; that you choose to have God as the ruler, king and the law giver in your life, (Isaiah 33:20-22),

This is also when the 100 blast of shofar blast (trumpet) are blown to declare God's Kingship over the entire earth (Numbers 29:1-2, 1Kings1:34).

According to the Rabbinic teaching, this is also the day when God brings all the people in the Earth under Judgement of His decisions in heaven, (the season when God decides who is going to be born,

and who are going to die, the ones that will become slaves, and who will become their slave master, the ones that will become leaders, and those who will be disqualified from leadership etc…..,)

So anything we do in this 7th month from Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur can tip the balance of God's weighing scale on behalf of our lives,

bringing God's favour into our lives or His cruel judgement against humanity, Your obedience towards God, will determine, shape, and structure the rest of your year,

but also men's rebellion towards God in this season brings a curse, and a cruel judgement of God against humanity.

In this same month (the month of Tishrei, the 7th month), God commanded Abraham totake his only beloved son to mount Moriah, and sacrifice him there, (Gen 22:1-14),

and as he obediently crowned God through following God's command for his life, the Lord crowned him as the King,

and as a father of faith to all nations in Genesis 22:15-18, and in exchange the Lord God also gave us His only begotten son (John 3:16).

Read Psalm 47:1-9.

This is also the same season when God put Adam in authority over the garden in Eden, by giving him possession, and the right to enjoy all the riches that were in Eden (Gen 2:8-16).

Also in this season, of the 7th month of Tishrei on Rosh Hashanah, King Solomon finished the building of God's Temple on earth,

King Solomon sacrificed burnt offerings that can not be counted in honour of God's glory that attracted the riches of Gold, silver and all the precious things of the earth, 1King 8:2-6.

One opinion says that "Tishrei" means "to begin", for the beginning of Tishrei meant that it was the beginning of an agricultural year or farming year.

Another meaning of "Tishrei" is forgiveness.

"Tishrei" also means "released" and they explained that the month was so named because in it God "releases and lets go all" the sins of the Jewish people and the body of Christ.

Tishrei" is the Aramaic word for "You will forgive", clearing the sins of people and pronouncing them not guilty.

This month falls in September or October
